Dear Karen:
I would like to express my appreciation for all that we have learned in your basics class over the past weeks. Pepe' is a "rescue dog" who did not know how to walk on a leash when we attended our first session. With your help and in a few short weeks, Pepe' has learned how to heel and takes controlled walks with great confidence. So often these classes are referred to as obedience classes for dogs when in fact they are dog obedience classes for dog owners. The best thing I have learned from you is how to effectively communicate my commands to Pepe'. With this, he and I should be able to live together as best friends for many years to come.
